Terms of Use
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Agreement
By downloading or using Hark (the "App"), published by LoRicco & Co, LLC ("we"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, these terms control for matters they cover.
The App
Hark is a teleprompter. It displays scripts you provide and, when you enable voice-follow, uses on-device speech recognition to keep the current line where you are. Voice-follow currently supports English. Recognition quality depends on your device, microphone, and environment, and Hark may lose its place; you can resync at any time. Hark is not a recording or transcription service.
Your scripts
You own the text you put into Hark. We claim no rights to it, never receive it, and are not responsible for its content. You are responsible for having the right to use any text you import.
Free tier and Hark Pro
The free tier includes unlimited auto-scroll, up to three saved scripts, and one minute of voice-follow per day. Hark Pro removes those limits. Pro is available as an auto-renewing weekly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, each sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by region.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings under Subscriptions.
- Where a free trial is offered, the subscription price is charged when the trial ends unless cancelled before then. Any unused trial period is forfeited when you purchase.
- Payments are handled by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies and requested through Apple.
- Purchases can be restored on other devices signed into the same Apple ID using Restore Purchases in Settings.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with the App, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law or Apple's terms.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding what you paid for the App in the twelve months before a claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and termination
We may update the App or these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. We may discontinue the App; paid subscriptions would not be renewed after that.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
