Privacy Policy

The short version
Hark is built by LoRicco & Co. It has no accounts, no analytics SDK, and no servers of its own. Your scripts are stored on your phone. Speech recognition runs on your phone. The only data that leaves your device is what Apple and RevenueCat need to process a purchase.
What stays on your device
- Scripts. Everything you type, paste, or import is saved in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded.
- Audio and speech. Voice-follow uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Hark requires on-device recognition and will not fall back to a network recognizer. Hark does not record, store, or transmit audio or transcripts.
- Preferences and usage. Scroll mode, speed, text size, whether you have seen onboarding, and how many seconds of free voice-follow you have used today are stored locally.
Purchases
Hark Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system and managed with RevenueCat, a subscription service. When you buy, restore, or renew, RevenueCat receives a purchase receipt from Apple and an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID so your Pro access can be recognized on this device. Hark never sees your Apple ID, name, email, or payment details. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
On Apple's App Privacy label this is disclosed as Purchase History, used for app functionality and for RevenueCat's purchase analytics (how many trials convert, for example), not linked to your identity, and not used to track you. Hark itself runs no analytics SDK.
What we do not collect
No name, email, contacts, location, photos, health data, advertising identifier, or usage analytics. We do not sell data. We do not use third-party advertising.
Permissions
Hark asks for microphone and speech recognition access only when you start voice-follow. Auto-scroll works without either. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings; Hark will fall back to auto-scroll.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes every script and preference. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their policies; to ask us to request deletion of the anonymous RevenueCat record for your device, email us with the app user ID shown in Settings.
Children
Hark is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If Hark ever adds data collection (for example crash reporting), this page and the App Store privacy label will be updated first, with the date above.
